«Планете Земля нужен друг, не так ли?»

(ПРЕЗЕНТАЦИЯ К УРОКУ ПРИЛАГАЕТСЯ)
Цели:
образовательная: активизация лексики по теме «Окружающая среда» в речи, продолжить совершенствовать навыки диалогической и монологической речи по данной теме, учить учащихся составлять план своего высказывания;
развивающая: развитие навыков аудирования, навыков монологической речи на основе текста, своих высказываний по данной теме, развитие грамматических навыков, коммуни-
кативных, тренировать навыки диалогической речи;
воспитательная: прививать любовь к окружающей среде, беречь и охранять нашу природу, следить за чистотой своего посёлка, прилегающей территории, всегда помнить, что от тебя зависит, что ты оставишь своим потомкам.
Ход урока
I. The beginning of the lesson.
1) It’s time to say: “Hello” 3(раза)
And start our lesson.
2) - Good morning, Liza! How are you?
- I’m fine, thank you!
- And what about your family?
- It’s fine too.
3) – Are you happy? Why?
- Yes, I am. …
4) – Are you glad to see your friends and why?
- Yes, I am. …
II. What theme do we study?
And the theme of our lesson is “The Earth needs a friend!”
We must decide what we can do to save the Earth.
- Recite the poem “Motherland” (перевод дан в презентации, читает Куракина Анастасия, она же рассказывает о планете «Земля»)
Many countries there are in this world,
Where the same birds take wing overhead,
Where the cherries are just as red,
Where the same apple — blossoms unfur,
Yet no country is there like ours,
With vast oceans lapping its coasts,
The fairest best loved, cherished most,
Lit with sunshine and washed by showers.
It’s a wonderful world we live in. (в презентации картинка Земли). For thousands of years the Earth has given support to all forms of life-human beings, animals, birds, fishes, insects and plants. We know the beauty will save the world. Life will be more interesting if we use different colours. The main colours of our planet are blue, green, brown and white. We live in the world where there are a lots of problems, we get much stress. I think we can solve our problems.
Poem.
- I like flowers that are bright,
I like flowers that are white,
I like with a smell,
I like flowers very well.
IV. Read the words in transcription.
Protect, pollution, waste, pollute, environment, litter, damage, disappear, junk food, create.
V. Now read and translate the words on cards (слова напечатаны на карточках).
VI. You see two columns of words. You must match the words to make up word expressions.

Use these word expressions in the sentences. (учащиеся говорят словосочетания, а в презентации они показываются стрелкой. Затем учащиеся составляют с ними предложения.)
VII. Answer the questions.
What must people protect the Earth from?
What kinds of pollution do you know?
What and where do people usually waste?
What must we do to protect the environment?
VIII. You know there are different types of environment. What are they?
There are types of environment: natural geographical features, living organisms, man-made geographical features (учащиеся называют виды окружающей среды, на мульти мидия они выходят с рисунками).
You know that these types of environment are in danger. Look at the pictures carefully. What do these pictures show?
----The first picture shows the air pollution. (учащиеся смотрят на картинки в презентации и говорят, какое загрязнение они видят, используя некоторые предложения: 1. Forests the size of Belgium are destroyed every year. 2. There is a lot of litter in the water. 3. We live among litter and wastes.)
IX. The work with the text (page 43).
1. Read some sentences.
2. Find in the text the phrases that have similar meanings to the words:

All my muscles are relaxed and resting. I am quiet. My right arm is warm. My body is warm. Nothing diverts my attention. I open my eyes. I have a lot of energy. I am active and strong. I can do any work easily. My body is light. How do you feel?
XI. Look at the picture.
What’s wrong with us? You can see the Earth in the gas-mask.
There is the list of problems that our planet suffers from. (рисунок в презентации показывает нашу Землю в противогазе).
First read them.
Look at the picture and name two the most serious and crucial problems of our days.

You may use the slogans which you see on the blackboard.
What environmental problems have people got? How can we solve them?

XII. Now listen to the poem.
If all the seas were one sea,
What a great sea that would be!
If all the trees were one tree,
What a great tree that would be!
And if all the a[es were one axe,
What a great axe that would be!
And if all the men were one man,
What a great man that would be!
And if the great man took the great axe,
And cut down the great tree,
And let it fall into the great sea,
What a splish – splash that would be!
XIII. We live in the country.
Is our village clean? Why? Do you clean your streets? Are there bins in the streets? Do you throw the rubbish away or put it into the bins?
What’s the people’s problem?
-----The problem is that people throw away too much litter.
What can we do in this situation?
------We can recycle the litter.
Must we help our planet?

We must help our planet. As you know many countries forget about millions of tons of rubbish every year. It is known European family with two children throws away about 50 kilos of paper – that’s six trees – and about 60 kilos of plastic, about 70 food cans, 34 cans of pet food and about 70 drink cans. We don’t have to throw away all our waste paper, glass, metal and plastic.
We can recycle a lot of it. Recycling is the process after which the rubbish can be useful again. Recycling saves trees and energy. The people have to plant trees, ride bikes instead of driving a car. But we know that recycling is expensive. But it protects the environment from pollution.
XIV. Today we have the guest – the vital tree. Listen to the tree.
It's a wonderful world we live in. But now human beings are killing our planet. Millions animals die every year because man has polluted their natural homes.
The air is polluted by power stations and factories.
People cut the trees down because they need wood and paper or new places for farms and houses.
Water is also polluted very much. There is a lot of litter on the beaches, chemical waste in the water.
The people pollute themselves with cigarettes, alcohol and junk food.
Pollution is very dangerous for people, wildlife and the environment.
We mustn’t pollute the environment!
The beauty will save the world!
